Avalon Danvers Tenants
Not Happy.
I recently came across a website that has
some Avalon Danvers tenants complaining
about their living situation at 1101 Kirkbride
Drive. I have to admit I got great satisfaction
when reading these.
Opened
on May 13th, 1878
The State Lunatic Hospital at Danvers was
erected, under the supervision of prominent
Boston architect Nathaniel J, Bradlee, in
an extremely remote location.
Abandoned
since June 24, 1992 Over fourteen structures
on the highlands, all have since been demolished.

: Once over 313,000 sf complex of 17 buildings erected between
1874-1878.
